Experience part of Canada’s Olympic history.
WinSport was founded in 1956 to bid on behalf of Calgary to host an Olympic Winter Games, which Calgary hosted in 1988 for the XV Olympic Winter Games.
A not-for-profit organization, WinSport supports national sport organizations and subsidizes the operation of unique training and recreational facilities used by the nation’s top athletes and the general public, right on the site of the 1988 Olympics.
In addition to the training facilities for Olympians and other athletes, WinSport is open year-round and offers exciting, adrenaline-pumping activities for the whole family. Visit in the winter for ski or snowboard lessons and try out the massive halfpipe, or come in the summer to zipline, bobsleigh, mini golf or mountain bike.
